Thinking about… things
As I have been re-watching the best ensemble show, the brilliant comedy series F.R.I.E.N.D.S. during every free moment on this experiment week, and going throught all the posts, and things, I realized something. Something, that I have thought of before, too, but now I really undertood it.
Everything that I was looking for in the crimedy show BONES, everything I wanted it to be, and wished for Brennan & Booth, I had already gotten. While watching the ensemble comedy/sit-com FRIENDS, and Monica & Chandler.
(Yes, I realize that I am comparing what most thought were a secondary couple, with the main couple, but I don’t care. For me Rachel & Ross will forever remain the secondary relationship of Friends. But so will Angela & Hodgins (be the secondary cuple of the show for me) in Bones.
So this got me thinking: was I hoping for things happen for B&B because I remembered in the back of my mind the Mondler moments. Even though I did not make the connection right away. But so many of the moments/scenes/things I thought could happen with B&B, and the UST/tension remain (and maybe even get more powerful), for seasons/years.
I am so happy for the FRIENDS writers. They had doubts, but they took the “risk”. And it paid off. Tons. I love them for it. Seriously. I may think differently tomorrow, or in next life, but right now, after considering all the on-screen couples I’ve loved, Monica & Chandler were/are the best! I loved their scenes together since the beginning, but the moment I really knew they should be written as a couple were the beach episodes. I was certain then. And I really don’t know if they had decided this storyline alr eady during those episodes, or was it still undecided. I am sorry the BONES fans won’t get as much awesomeness. So many things that will never happen. Because they just ran out of time. But I guess I shouldn’t care, because the people watching don’t seem to. So I won’t. As long as the viewers are happy with what they’re getting, al’s good. Good luck with that.
btw, I am stunned at my ability to type a “serious” post as this one. While watching the FRIENDS (flashback) gag reel/bloopers.
*sigh* If only I have lived in the US a decade ago. I would have made it my mission to get to at least one taping of FRIENDS.
I apologize for “stealing” this line, but it fits:
THERE ARE/MAY BE MANY TV COUPLES/ROMANCES THAT YOU LOVE,
BUT THERE IS THAT ONE YOU LOVE THE MOST.

Most mysteries of the universe have already been explained. We know that gravity makes things drop. We have a pretty good idea why the wind blows. We even know why some birds can fly and some cannot. But there’s still one mystery that defies easy explanation.
What makes otherwise perfectly normal folks fall hopelessly, helplessly in love?
You love someone, you open yourself up to suffering. That’s the sad truth.Maybe they’ll break your heart, maybe you’ll break their heart and never be able to look yourself in the same way. Those are the risks. That’s the burden.
Like wings they have weight,we feel that weight on our back, but they are a burden that lifts us.Burdens which allow us to fly…— Dr Temperance Brennan (in her deleted book)
— Jack Hodgins (the crime novelist, narrator)

May I say something? To BONES and CASTLE fans, and everyone.
I thought a few days whether I should post this or not, but I am going to do it. And I hope no one gets angry, or takes it in a bad way.
IF for some reason someone who loves Castle has said that the show “copies” Bones, because they have similar storylines, or whatever, then here’s a thought: in that case I could say that then Bones “copies” Friends, because the storylines are so similar at times.
But the truth is that (almost) everything you see on the (big or small) screen, has been done already by someone at some point. The only question is if you’ve seen the earlier “versions” or not, and if you make the connections or not. There are not that many options how to do a show, and what to write about. It’s more about if you (the writers of the show) are able to give it a special twist, make it unique, and different from earlier things.
I don’t see these similarities as necessarily a bad thing, if they do happen. I find them amusing. Whenever I recognize a plot/situation that I’ve seen in some other movie/show, I laugh.

The reason why Sully never returned from the Caribbean. This one’s for all the #Bones fans. But not only.
Note 1: yes, this could be considered as shameless self promotion.
You can find the original post HERE
I’d appreciate feedback. Was it funny only to me when making it? Or is the end result amusing aswell?

“Scientists have discovered the cremated skeleton of a Paleoindian child in the remains of an 11,500-year-old house in central Alaska. The findings reveal a slice of domestic life that has been missing from the record of the region’s early people, who were among the first to colonize the Americas.” posted in science daily
